Women in Title: Standing with Jamaica Through Hurricane Relief
When our community sees a need, we show up—together, wholeheartedly, and without hesitation. Last month, our West Miami-Dade chapter, led by Lorna Reyes of Westcor, rallied around a cause close to many of our members: providing hurricane relief supplies for those impacted in Jamaica.
In the photos, you’ll see essential items donated by our members—generous contributions that reflect the true heart of Women in Title: a community that doesn’t just talk about support, but puts it into meaningful action.
We coordinated with three incredible organizations leading relief efforts on the ground—Jamaican Women of Florida, Caribbean Strong, and Global Empowerment Mission. All three have been working tirelessly to move supplies, volunteers, and critical assistance directly into the hands of the families who need it most.
“One of the most impactful outcomes of this effort was our ability to help secure solar-powered street lights for areas still without electricity.” said Reyes
From hygiene essentials and baby items to first-aid supplies and long-term community needs, every contribution helped restore stability, dignity, and a bit of light—literally and figuratively.
This is (y)our community in action.
