Women in Title Takes ALTA One in New York City by Storm

Published on November 27, 2025

The Women in Title community made a powerful showing at ALTA One 2025 in New York City bringing connection, celebration, and a whole lot of purple energy to every corner of the conference!

Community at the Heart of It All

Our hospitality suite, sponsored by Westcor Land Title Insurance Company, served as the heart of the WiT experience, a welcoming space for members and industry partners to connect. With breakfast provided by CloseSimple and conference essentials from WFG National Title Insurance Company, we were fueled and ready to share our purple pride.

A Celebration of Collaboration

The week kicked off with a toast to WiT’s third birthday and the incredible team making it all happen. What began as a spark has grown into a national network powered by its members and their shared success.

Leadership and Recognition

Throughout the conference, WiT board members and members spoke on panels across a range of topics. Their voices reflected WiT’s mission to empower and elevate title professionals at every level by leading out loud.

We’re thrilled to share that Liz Casselman has been appointed to the ALTA Abstracters & Title Insurance Agents Executive Committee — a leadership group representing title agents and abstracters nationwide. This appointment reflects her expertise and commitment to the industry.

Our Black Hills, South Dakota Chapter Chair, Lauren Beyersdorf, had a special moment when she earned her National Title Professional (NTP) designation. Her fellow Women in Title showed up in full force cheering her on and celebrating her hard work and dedication.

Another standout moment came when WiT Founder and President Kim Whitlock received an ALTA Values Award, honoring her vision, leadership, and commitment to advancing women in the industry. It was a moment met with pride, and a few happy tears.

Connection and Community

Between sessions, WiT members gathered to make friendship bracelets, a lighthearted nod to Taylor Swift and the bonds that bring us together.

The week wrapped with new friendships and fresh inspiration. Here’s to another year of Advocating, Collaborating, and Empowering together, both online and IRL.
